"MAMAN" is an original creation on the theme of depression and postpartum psychosis.
The play also addresses the social pressures on women to fulfil a predestined role in society.
The play aims to present the audience with a different image of motherhood, to question it: what does it mean to become a mother? What is our intimate relationship to motherhood? The objective is to raise public awareness of post-partum psychosis and to present an alternative account of the mother-child relationship
"Maternel love is infinitely complex and imperfect. Far from instinctive, rather it takes a small miracle for this love to be as it is described to us." - Elizabeth Badinter
